How long does the admission process take?▾
Typically 4–7 working days from application to enrolment confirmation, depending on document verification.
Is IMTS Institute UGC recognised?▾
IMTS is an admission service partner. The degrees you enrol in are issued by UGC-recognised universities like MIT University Sikkim.
Can I pay in EMI?▾
Yes. We offer EMI plans starting at 3 months up to 36 months through our finance partners. Use our EMI calculator on each course page.
Are there any hidden fees?▾
No. Every course detail page lists the complete fee breakup — development, application, prospectus, registration, exam and yearly fees.
Do you offer scholarships?▾
Yes — up to 50% scholarships are available based on academics, category, gender, and income. Use the Scholarship Finder tool to check eligibility.
What's the difference between Online, Distance and WILP?▾
Online = live or recorded virtual classes. Distance = self-paced with study material + assignments. WILP = Work Integrated, designed for full-time professionals.
Can I switch specialization after admission?▾
Yes, within the first 30 days of enrolment, subject to seat availability and a nominal change fee.
What documents do I need to submit?▾
10th & 12th marksheets, last qualification marksheet & certificate, government photo ID, passport-size photo, address proof, and category certificate if applicable. Use the Document Checklist tool for a personalised list.
Can I submit scanned copies?▾
Yes — clear scans or photographs uploaded online are accepted for verification. Original physical copies are only needed for certain programs.
How are exams conducted?▾
Most programs offer proctored online exams. Some have center-based exams in major cities. Schedule and pattern is on each course page under the Exams tab.
What if I have a backlog?▾
Backlogs can be cleared in the next exam cycle (typically 6 months) for a small re-examination fee.
Is the certificate same as a regular degree?▾
Yes. The certificate is issued by the university and is identical to one issued for an on-campus program. It is valid for jobs, higher studies and government posts.
How do I verify my certificate online?▾
Each university provides an online verification portal where employers can confirm authenticity using your enrolment number.
Are the universities listed on IMTS recognised?▾
Yes — every partner university is UGC-DEB recognised, and many also hold NAAC accreditation and AICTE approval where applicable.
Do I need to attend any in-person classes?▾
No. All learning is delivered online; only some programs require attending a centre-based exam.
Do I need an employment letter for WILP?▾
Yes. WILP programs are designed for working professionals and require a current employer letter at enrolment.
What is the refund policy?▾
If admission is cancelled within 15 days of enrolment, a partial refund (less processing & registration fees) is issued. Full policy is on /refund-policy.
